The Almhof Team

Csaba

Csaba is one of our “all-rounders”. Csaba is a trained waiter and also helps out in housekeeping and caretaking. His hobbies are mountaineering, climbing, hiking and snowboarding. We are very happy that he is part of our team.

Robin

Robin is actually an IT technician and has lived in Gerlos for several years. He supports our kids club team, with the main focus on Lego Education. His hobbies/sports: Cycling across the Netherlands, snowboarding and Lego. We are very happy that he is part of our team :-)

Franz

Franz is our neighbour and a talented craftsman. In winter, he is the manager of the ski lift and the snow groomer pilot. We are very happy that he is part of our team :-)

Team Caretaker

Peter Kammerlander

Peter Kammerlander is the owner and host of the Almhof. His main duties and responsibilities are human resources, quality management, product development, and marketing.

Elisabeth Kammerlander-Mori

Elisabeth Kammerlander is passionate host, and her main duties are guest and employee satisfaction! In addition, she is responsible for bookkeeping, controlling, and marketing.

Tommy

Tommy is a wellness and sports coach, host, DJ, and an important contact person for our guests. He will inspire you with his passion for exercise, summer and winter. We are very happy that he is part of our team :-)

Zsuzsanna

Zsuzsanna comes from Hungary and joined the housekeeping team in December 2022. Her hobbies/sports: reading, drawing. We are very happy to have her in the team:-)

Alena

Alena had her own business in her home country. She has worked in housekeeping at the Almhof for several years. We are very happy that she is part of our team :-)

Rita

Rita has been in the service team since December. Her hobbies/sports: basketball. We are very happy to have her in the team :-)

Lisandra

Lisandra joined the floor team in December. Her hobbies/sports: hiking, volleyball, football. We are very happy to have her in the team :-)

Valentina

Valentina comes from Bulgaria and joined the housekeeping team in May 2023. Her hobbies/sports: reading, cooking, piano. We are very happy to have her in the team:-)

Aksenia

Aksenia joined our housekeeping team in December 2019. We are very happy that she is part of our team :-)

Suelen

Suelen comes from Portugal and joined the floor team in May 2023. Her hobbies/sports: hiking, singing, puzzles. We are very happy to have her in the team:-)

Kira

Kira joined the housekeeping team in May. We are very happy to have her in the team :-)

Valeria

Valeria comes from Hungary and joined our housekeeping team in May 2023. Her hobbies/sports: reading, music. We are very happy to have her in our team:-)

Csenge

Csenge joined the floor team in December 2021. Her hobbies/sports: painting, reading, hiking. We are very happy to have her in the team :-)

Gleisilene

Gleisileni joined our housekeeping team in May 2021. We are very happy that she is part of our team :-)

Ventsislav

Venti joined our kitchen team in June and is responsible for the dishes together with Arnold and Jan. We are very happy that he is part of our team :-)

Team Housekeeping

Björn

Björn worked at the Almhof Kinderclub years ago and has now come back to take on the role as manager. His hobbies/sports: swimming, reading, dancing. We are very happy to welcome him back to our team:-)

Agi

Agihas work experience in the kindergarten, she joined our children’s club in May 2015. She has already completed many seminars and courses in the Kinderhotel Academy. Hobbies/Sports: Hiking, baking, her dog. We are very happy that she is part of our team :-)

Martina

Martina hails from the Zillertal and has joined the kid’s club team in May 2023. Her hobbies/sports: baking, playing the guitar. We are very glad that she is part of our team:-)

Robert

Robert is back in our kids club team. His hobbies/sports: hiking, outdoor survival, woodcraft. We are very happy that he is part of our team :-)

Max

Max joined the kids club team in May 2023. His hobbies/sports: content creation, snowboarding, surfing. We are very happy to have him in the team:-)

Team Kids Club

Robin

Jacob

Jacob comes from the Czech Republic and joined the Almhof kitchen team in December 2022. His hobbies/sports: cooking, cycling, music. We are very happy to have him in the team:-)

Jakub

Jakob joined the Almhof in June 2017 and his role in the kitchen team is mainly garde manger. His hobbies are travelling, hiking and sports in general. We are very happy that he is part of our team :-)

Frank

Frank spends his sixth summer season as a front cook at the Almhof. His hobbies are horse riding, cycling and hiking. We are very happy to have him back in the team :-)

Thomas

Thomas has been our new head chef since May 2023. Thomas has a lot of experience in the upscale gastronomy and hotel business. His hobbies/sports: cycling, hiking, cooking, gardening. We are very happy that he is part of our team:-)

Tibor

Tibor started as sous chef on 2 December 2015 and took over the team as head chef on 11 January 2016. Tibor is a passionate chef and has great team leading skills. Tibor is also the F & B manager. We are very happy that he is part of our team.

Matej

Matej comes from the Czech Republic and joined the kitchen team in May 2023. His hobbies/sports: music, gardening, skiing. We are very happy to have him in the team:-)

Maximilian

Maximilian completed his apprenticeship as a chef at the Almhof with distinction and then gained some experience in other businesses and is now back at the Almhof. We are very happy to have him back in the team :-)

Jan

Jan joined our kitchen team in July and offers support where needed. We are very happy that he is part of our team :-)

Adam

It’s hard to imagine the kitchen team without Adam, who started as garde manger and now works in various areas, right now he is the breakfast cook! We are very happy that he is part of our team :-)

Julian

Julian comes from Bulgaria and joined the kitchen team in May 2023. His hobbies/sports: DJ, football. We are very happy to have him in the team:-)

Alex

Alex hails from Spain and is completing his chef apprenticeship at the Almhof. His hobbies are chess, karate and hiking. We are very happy that he is part of our team :-)

Markus

Markus has been in the kitchen team since December 2022. Markus was European champion in the power triple. His hobbies/sports: power sports, aeroplanes. We are very happy to have him in the team:-)

Barbara

Barbara lives in Krimml and supports the kitchen team responsible for all things sweet. Barbara is an absolute expert in her field. Her hobbies/sports: hiking and cooking. We are very happy that she is part of our team :-)

Attila

Attila comes from Hungary and works in the kitchen team. His hobbies/sports: sports in general. We are very happy to have him in the team:-)

Team Kitchen

Alexander

Alexander has worked at the Almhof since 2008, first as a manager and member of the reception, quality representative and host. In December 2017 he was promoted to director! We are very happy that he is part of our team.

Stefanie

Stefanie has joined our reception team in winter 2011/2012 and became team leader in December 2018. Her hobbies: skiing, shoes, travelling. Her positivity is highly contagious! We are very happy that she is part of our team :-)

Levi

Levi has been an integral part of the Gerlos community for 12 years, ski instructor, action supervisor and now, since May 2023, receptionist at the Almhof. Levi is Dutch and hard to believe – he speaks almost perfect dialect. His hobbies/sports: skiing, cycling. We are very happy that he is part of our team :-)

Team Reception

Sebastian

Sebastian has already completed his internship at the Almhof three times and is now learning to be a restaurant specialist. He has already successfully completed his bartender diploma and the Austrian wine sommelier. His hobbies/sports: football, biking, swimming. We are very happy that he is part of our team:-)

Agnieszka

Agnieszka comes from Poland and joined our reception team in May 2023. Her hobbies/sports: skiing, theatre/cinema, reading, sports. We are very happy that she is part of our team :-)

Christian

Christian is a professional behind the bar and became restaurant manager in December 2019. He joined our team in May 2014. His hobbies are travelling, tennis, and watching sports. We are very happy that he is part of our team.

Pavlina

Pavlina joined the Almhof 16 years ago. She has worked at reception, in service and in housekeeping. Since winter 2018 she has worked in our service team. We are very happy that she is part of our team :-)

Misko

Misko is a professional in hospitality, animator, and barkeeper. His hobbies are basketball and fitness. We are very happy that he is part of our team :-)

Miguel

Miguel has been an active member of the service team since October. We are very happy to have him in the team :-) His hobbies: bar, meeting friends, always on the lookout for trendy locations.

Arpad

Arpad comes from Hungary and joined the service team in May 2023. His hobbies/sports: hiking, cooking, model flying. We are very happy to have him in the team:-)

Roman

Roman is a head waiter deputy and has been with the team since February 2017, filling the position of Gardemanger at the start. In summer 2018, Roman moved to the service department. As a cook/waiter, it is easy for him to work in different departments. His hobbies/sports: swimming, Formula 1, ice hockey. We are very happy that he is part of our team:-)

Martina

Martina joined the service team in August 2019. Her hobbies/sports: Travelling, watching sports programmes. We are very happy that she is part of our team :-)

Anca

Anca comes from Romania and joined the service team in May 2023. Her hobbies/sports: violin, poetry, snowboarding, music. We are very happy to have her in the team:-)

Bogi

Bogi joined the service team in summer 2022. Her hobbies are cycling and hiking. We are very happy to have her in our team :-)

Tamás

Tamás joined the team in December. His hobbies/sports: football, hiking. We are very happy to have him in the team:-)

Sorin

Sorin comes from Romania and joined the service team in May 2023. His hobbies/sports: music, skiing. We are very happy to have him in the team:-)

Leo

Leo comes from Portugal and joined the service team in May 2023. His hobbies/sports: football, gym, music. We are very happy to have him in the team:-)

Joe

Joe hails from Zell am Ziller, he is a certified massage therapist and wellness coach. Before joining our team, Joe worked as bartender, entertainer and ski instructor. His hobbies are literature, music, nutrition and health, diving and of course skiing. We are very happy that he is part of our team.

Joyce

Joyce is a sports scientist and physiotherapist. She joined our team in May 2019. Her hobbies: everything that has to do with exercising, nutrition and health. We are very happy that she is part of our team :-)

Zsuzsanna

Zsuzsanna joined the wellness team in December. Her hobbies/sports: cooking, decorating. We are very happy that she is part of our team:-)

Csilla

Csilla joined the wellness team in May 2023. Csilla is a professional and pampers you in our cosmetics department. Her hobbies/sports: cooking, make-up, hiking. We are very happy that she is part of our team :-)

Bobby is the head of the Hotzone School of Snowboarding, ski instructor, high ropes course trainer, canyoning guide and bike guide. Bobby is your companion on bike tours and hikes. We are very happy that he is part of our team :-)
