Situated close to the lake and surrounded by 60,000 m² of meadows, the Almhof Family Resort & SPA enjoys a prime location against the backdrop of the beautiful Tirolean Alps. In winter, the children’s ski area is right next to the hotel. Nestled between the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Zillertal Nature Park, Gerlos is a high valley with 5 beautiful side valleys that are easily accessible and car-free.

Child-friendly Architecture

The entire hotel is furnished in a modern alpine design. All rooms and suites have high quality wooden floors. All bathrooms have double sink units (standard & reduced height). Almost all rooms and suites have a separate children’s room.

Lunch at Seppi’s mountain hut is included for Almhof guests in winter. Free summer gondola rides on the Isskogel and Koenigsleiten lifts. Attentive Childcare

84 hours childcare, 7 days per week in 4 age groups. We offer childcare for children from 3 months to 12 years and also for older children.

Sleep-in Service

Parents can sleep in while their children are cared for in the kids club. This service is offered in special weeks.

Shows, Swim School, Wizard Academy

Another highlight of the weekly programme in the kid’s club are the children’s shows, swim lessons and wizard academy.

Almi’s Children’s Ski School

At Almi’s children’s ski school, at least 15 ski instructors work exclusively with children staying at the Hotel Almhof and Hotel Kroeller.

During the ski season, Almhof guests are invited to enjoy a free lunch at Seppi’s Hut in the Zillertal ski area.

Excellent Cuisine

All-inclusive gourmet board and “Gruene Haube” wholefood natural cuisine. Rich breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, healthy snacks and afternoon cake buffet, topped off with a delicious 5-course gourmet dinner! All non-alcoholic drinks are available from the buffet, as well as a variety of coffees and teas.

Water World

Almhof Water World featuring the panoramic indoor pool and relaxation area with cosy nooks, Jacuzzi loungers and connection to the outdoor pool. In addition, there’s the children’s indoor pool with water path, a toddler-and-babies pool, the year-round accessible 110-metre-long giant water slide, the large open air whirlpool and the “Ferrari water slide”.

Wellness Tower – SPA Experience

The indoor pool area features our family sauna area with small Finnish sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin. The sauna experience for adults only features a panoramic sauna, soft sauna, steam bath, alpine sauna and rooftop whirlpool. Ladies only: Laconium, salt steam room, and small sauna with relaxation room “seeBlick”. Private SPA with Finnish sauna an whirlpool. Rooftop SPA featuring alpine sauna and rooftop whirlpool. Ski & Tobogganing Hill

The Almhof babylift (300 metres) and the children’s ski area with 5 conveyors and 2 carousels are free of charge for our guests. All ski slopes have snow-making capabilities.

The toboggan run is located directly in front of the hotel and minimum 20 toboggans are available to hire.

Zillertal Arena

The Zillertal Arena is one of the best family-friendly ski areas in Austria boasting a total of 147 kilometers of slopes, accessed by 52 lifts.
